Core drills Tecrona coated with tungsten-carbide cutting edges and Weldon shank for railway tracks

Ø 19,0 mm. Cutting depth: 30 mm – Can be used on all track drilling machines. The cutting geometry has been specially optimized for heavy duty chip removal from railway tracks, thus makes efficient use possible.
Advantages of the Tecrona coating
The Tecrona coating is ideal for all operations that are carried out without cooling or lubrication. It adheres very well to the tool, thereby increasing the surface hardness of the wear protection coating to approximately 4200 HV and the thermal resistance up to 1100°C.
The coefficient of friction is very low for this coating, thereby increasing the service life with low wear.
Applications:
Particularly for rail tracks, Hardox / Weldox steel, steel, cast iron, high-alloyed chromium steel such as stainless and acidresistant steel.
